Mainstream Boutique

There's a new boutique in Northbrook.  Have you heard of it?  Have you been there?  It's called Mainstream Boutique, located at 936B Willow Road, Northbrook, Illinois.  They have fabulous clothes (and awesome jewelry) at great prices.  Every time I go in there, I have to snag a top and a necklace to go with it!  So dangerous!!!

They carry tons of cool brands, and the store has a great feel to it.  They will help you put together an outfit, if you ask.  One of the things I like about Mainstream is their no pressure to buy approach.  Because, sometimes you just want to look.  And a lot of times, if you are like me, you come back...to buy (or even look again), and then buy, eventually.

Mainstream Boutique opened in Northbrook at the end of May, but they are a franchise, located in 11 states and headquartered in Minnesota.  You can check the Northbrook store out on their Facebook page and see lots of pictures of the terrific clothing they have.  I stopped in the store last week, and this is just a small taste of some of the great fashion they had.  

As you know, I love jackets, and this neutral jacket is a great piece:

One of my favorites that I tried on was this blanket sweater.  It has a tribal feel to it, which was very in style for spring and summer and continues for fall.  I hemmed and hawed over it, and still am.  I may be  back for this piece.  It was just so cozy and really got me in the mood for fall.

       

Mainstream had lots of sweaters.  This one to the right would look great with a pair of jeans.

I've also noticed that Mainstream has a great selection of dresses, including skirts and maxi skirts.  The outfit below is perfect for right now, and once the weather turns colder, the maxi skirt would look great with a black sweater.

                                                

If you like the chevron stripe on the skirt above, this top below is calling your name.  I love the match up with the green scarf.  Even though you cannot see the necklace in the picture, trust me, it is really cute.

This jacket below is a no brainer.  It looks adorable on.  I tried it on, and it is really slimming.  As I mentioned in my last post, the herringbone pattern is right on trend for fall.  

                                               

Mainstream gets new merchandise in every day so what I am showing you above, may not be there when you stop in, but rest assured, they have so many cute things, including great leggings, unique camis, handbags and scarves.  I am sure you will find something trendy and fashionable that you love!
