Finally, A New Post!!!!

I am back.  After a three week break, it is time to get back to blogging.  I spent two of the last three weeks on vacation, touring the Pacific Northwest, which was amazing.  I was not only able to commune with nature at Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, but I was also able to commune with some great fashion in Seattle and Vancouver.  I had the good fortune of going to the first Starbucks (and snagging a T-shirt), visiting the first Nordstrom store in Seattle and the first Lululemon in Vancouver.

I spent the third week preparing my kids for school, which involved multiple trips to Target and Justice.  And unfortunately, I've been preoccupied mourning the loss of our family dog, Bailey, our cairn terrier, who passed away while we were on vacation.  She gave us 15 years of great memories, and we will always remember her incredible spirit, tenacity, energy, playfulness and loyalty.

So, needless to say, today I was in need of some retail therapy!  The destination of choice, was a local boutique called "Priceless," which is located at 1318 S. Milwaukee Ave. in Vernon Hills, Illinois.  I have been a customer of Priceless for the last 2 years or so, and I love their selection of clothing and jewelry.  I have found a lot of cute tops at Priceless and some great earrings, too.

When I went into Priceless today, they were fully stocked for fall.  While you and I may not be ready for the leaves to change and the temps to drop, a trip to Priceless will start getting you thinking about football, apple picking and pumpkins.

My visit to Priceless definitely made me realize that my days of wearing mint are numbered, and black and gray will begin to look good again.  Check out these two cute tops (both under $75).

I also really liked this top below in the black and olive combination.  It would look cute with black jeans and black boots.

If you are in need of color for fall, this top was really pretty.  They told me at Priceless, it has been a really popular seller.

They also had some great dresses for fall and winter:

And, of course, I just have to post some pictures of their awesome jewelry.  Their selection is one of the best I've seen, and the prices are reasonable too.  Most pieces are $25 -$30, and the earrings are $19.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Expect more posts next week.  After all, fall is right around the corner, and I will be talking about all the latest trends.  Until then, enjoy summer while it lasts, and let's keep on wearing those white jeans and sandals for as long as we can!
