Casual and Fun

Last week I happened to venture outside of the Buffalo Grove and Vernon Hills area into Bannockburn, a Chicago North Shore suburb.  I needed to get a pair of shoes fixed, and afterwards, I hopped into garbs, a trendy and upscale clothing and accessories boutique in Bannockburn Green.  It was my first time visiting the store.  At garbs, I found adorable bracelets by an artist named Tai, who also sells to Neiman Marcus.  I fell in love with this one, and not just because of the minty color:

I have seen lots of copies of this bracelet at stores all over, but on this beaded bracelet the stones are blue agate, and real leather is wrapped around the beads.  The color is what caught my eye, and I've found that it is great to wear with summer outfits.  It has a tie closure, which took me awhile to master.  garbs had lots of other similar bracelets by Tai in lots of different colors.  They also had a really cool one with wooden beads.  I am now a big fan of Tai's jewelry.

I will definitely check back at garbs again.  They were super helpful there, and they had lots of great clothing.  And, they had some great shoes, too!
