Today is a big day for me...I am about to enter the blogosphere with my first official post. This is a big step for me, considering I am not a big presence on Facebook and know very little about the workings of Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. But all that is about to change!
I decided to open my blog with my favorite purchase of the Spring season (yes, spring has arrived in Chicago. At least for a couple of days). And, to top it off, it is by my favorite designer, from my favorite department store, recommended to me by one of my favorite people.
If you know me, you know I love all things Tory Burch, and you know I love shoes, so it goes without saying that the Tory Burch 'Caroline' Elastic Trim Ballerina Flat in Camellia Pink is my favorite spring purchase.
These ballet flats were recommended to me by my friend, Lindsay, whose fashion expertise I seek often. She is about as qualified as I am in the fashion field. Me being a lawyer, and she, an accountant. But we've shopped plenty to know from whereof we speak. These shoes are from Nordstrom, where I love to shop. Unfortunately, the closest Nordstrom is about 30 minutes from my home so I frequently shop and peruse Nordstrom online, pretty much daily.
Back to the shoes...they are very comfortable. Ballet flats typically give me blisters, but the elastic band makes these super comfy for a day's worth of wear. They are not so much pink as they are really a nude color, which is one of the hottest shoe colors of the season. It especially goes well with all of the pastels they are showing. The Carolines go with tons of outfits, and I just love them. They are one of my favorite Tory purchases, by far!
Congratulations on your first post--- can't wait to hear about all of your great finds. :) Love the nude Tories!!
