There is No "Spring" in my Spring Break

For that matter, there is no "break" in my Spring Break either.  With 3 kids home (one who has been sick all weekend),  a husband glued to the NCAA Tournament and a puppy with boundless energy, my Spring Break has been one endless loop of cleaning up the kitchen.  How do these kids go through so many cups and glasses, anyway?  At least Husband is helping with the laundry, I will give him that.

Since I can only dream of being somewhere warm (my car read 24 degrees today) and Spring eventually making an appearance, I can at least blog about some amazingly adorable spring clothes at Alice B. (Buffalo Grove, IL).  For those readers that live locally and are home for the "break", if you get the chance this week, head over to Alice B. because they have lots of cute fashion.  If you are reading this blog from a beach somewhere warm (yes, I have that much confidence to think someone out there is in Aruba and did not want to miss any Best Dressed Moms posts!) or if you do not live in my area, then just keep reading because these pictures below represent some of the hottest trends for 2014.

Actually, the next few tops below we can wear NOW and still have a taste of spring.

This one gives you the denim look which is so popular right now.  If you walk through a mall, you will see denim shirts everywhere.  This top has the added bonus of being super soft.

Plaid was hot in the fall and I am seeing a lot of it, surprisingly for spring.  This top below is really thin and can transition well into spring (if we ever see it).

Here is another great transitional look with leggings and an awesome white sweater by Dex.  Notice the black zippers on the sides.  The leggings are a black and white tie dye.

Here is a cute tie dye in a long skirt:

The two outfits above show that black and white trend I have been talking about.  Here is more black and white below, too.

Floral trend..yes!  These leggings are very versatile and so stylish!  I love the top, too.

And, when it ever gets warm enough for the world to see your toes again, Alice B. had these cute shoes, which are so fashionable.  I have seen this criss cross wedge style everywhere from shoes by Steve Madden to Lucky Brand.
