Great Ways to Layer for Spring at Hot Mama

I was at Hot Mama in Deer Park, Illinois last week and came across some wonderful spring pieces that can be worn now or in the very near future (I hope) as soon as we can leave our winter parkas and snow boots in the closet.

This first jacket, by XCVI, can definitely be worn fall, winter or spring, and it is a fabulous piece.  I own last year's version.  It is a sweatshirt material, and can be put to a lot of uses.  It is a great busy mom piece as it can be worn anywhere:  to and from school, walking the dog, to and from the gym, to and from Target, and at home with little ones (it is easy to wash).

This next cardigan is by one of my favorite brands which Hot Mama carries, "Wooden Ships".  I have a couple of Wooden Ships scarves, which are so cozy. I love Wooden Ships because it is so soft.

I need feedback on this next piece.  Do you love it or think it is too loud?  It has started to grow on me.  The jacket is by Allison Joy.  It definitely lets you think spring.  It is on trend with the floral print .  And the price is right, $58.  I am starting to think it would make a great statement blazer.  Send your comments at the bottom of this post or on my Best Dressed Moms Page on Facebook.

The vest below is awesome!  Check out the back.  I love the camo color.  If I was not well stocked in camo jackets, this would be in my closet right now!  This is called the Bonfire Vest by Element.

The purpose of the photo below was to feature the cute skirt.  The skirt is the "Track Skirt" by Sanctuary.  I was thinking of the skirt as a casual piece for running errands or for a summer BBQ, but it really can be dressed up too.  Adorable!
