New Year's Resolution…Check!

I know...the kids have been back at school for a week now, and this blog has been devoid of posts!

To be honest, I have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things.  My top two New Year's resolutions were to blog more and hit the gym more.  I have not accomplished either one.  How successful have you been with your resolutions?

To make you feel better, there's a common theme that I have noticed with my mom friends.  We all have good intentions.  We are really good at starting projects.  We just never seem to finish them.  So many other pressing matters seem to get in our way.  Think about it…how many unfinished projects do you have lying around your house?

Well, I refuse to add this blog to my collection of unfinished projects, so expect some new posts coming your way!!!!!

It is sale season now as stores attempt to rid themselves of their winter merchandise and get ready for spring.  So, if there is something you had your eye on somewhere, it may be marked down now.

While a couple of stores I have been to had really picked over merchandise, last week I found a great selection of boots at Stilettos in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.  And, FYI, they have a sale starting today where you buy one pair of shoes and get the second pair (of equal or lesser value) for one penny.  Plus, their handbags and accessories are 30% off.  The sale goes through this Saturday, January 18.
