Sweater Weather

Busy, busy, busy.  That is my most common complaint.  And it is also my most common excuse for not blogging.  I have to say this week is no exception.  It has been a crazy week, the last week before winter break.  I have been trying to get all my errands done before two weeks of "mommy camp".

One of my errand runs involved a trip to my local shopping mall.  I saw some great sales and some really cute sweaters to blog about.  If these sweaters appeal to you, hopefully you will be able to find them at a chain store near you, or better yet, online and on sale!!!

One of the big trends this winter is the intarsia sweater.  Every store has them, including Target.  Nordstrom has some adorable wool and cashmere sweaters by Halogen. I saw this really cute heart one at The Limited.  It is $69.95 and currently 50% off online.

Here is another fashionable heart sweater from The Limited, but this color, an on trend cobalt blue, is out of stock online.  The other colors that are available are appealing too.

Still more hearts from Express:

And, as I am writing this post, I just received an email that Express is offering 50% off every item online and in stores.

I have also seen star patterned sweatshirts and sweaters at stores all over.  Here is a great star sweater from Express:

Another big trend is animal prints and graphics.  The November 2013 issue of People StyleWatch lists this as one of the 10 best trends of 2013 (see page 183).  Target has some great animal prints and so does Express and The Limited.  And what can be better than an animal print on a mint sweatshirt?  Checkout this cozy sweatshirt from Victoria's Secret PINK.

There are two more great deals at the mall worth nothing.  The Gap always has sales and if you can find this cute moto jacket on sale, do it!  It comes in gray too.

Also, I was able to grab some comfortable leggings at the PINK store.  Leggings are really big this season, especially all kinds of printed leggings.  I was able to get them at two pairs for $40.  Check these out:

I am hoping to get together another post by the weekend on sparkly things to wear to holiday parties and for New Year's Eve.  Keep reading!
