Jewelry Night Out & More

Yes, it has taken me awhile to get this post out.  There are additional posts in the making that I have been asked about as well.  I blame it all on the puppy.  It is seriously like having a new baby in the house, except she has a crate and playpen I can put her in instead of plopping her in front of a "Baby Einstein" DVD (yes, in the past, I am guilty of that!)  Maybe that is what started my kids on their track to a Disney Channel obsession (admittedly, I do get a good laugh when "Good Luck Charlie" reruns are on).  I won't even mention my girls' current "Dance Moms" craze, either.  Who ever thought children who watch "Baby Einstein" could morph into "reality" TV obsessed tweens!

About a month ago (it has been that long), I had the pleasure of visiting Jewelry Night Out & More ("JNO") for a fundraiser hosted by family friends.  JNO is located at 3655 Woodhead Drive in Northbrook, Illinois.  They are now open daily during the week and by appointment on Saturdays.  You can find their hours on their Facebook page.

All I knew about them was that they offered stylish fashion at warehouse prices.  I did not know what to expect, but was soon won over by the boutique quality clothing and accessories at discounted prices.   The selection of jewelry was amazing.  They had separate walls of jewelry for necklaces, bracelets and earrings.  Check out the photos below:

They carried other accessories like gloves, hats and scarves of all types.  I like the infinity scarves and purchased the one below:

JNO has a tremendous selection of scarves for very reasonable prices.

JNO also carried some great handbags.  The envelope clutch is a huge trend right now.  Snakeskin is big too.  This clutch below is totally on trend and adorable.

Although I do like jewelry and love handbags, it was the clothes that really reeled me in.  The prices on clothing were less than you would find in boutique stores, and they carried many of the same brands.  There were lots of cute sweaters, jackets and tops.

The other great thing about JNO is that the owners are very helpful and can help you put together an outfit.   There are no pushy sales people to contend with, and you know you are getting great prices.

You should choose JNO as a stop during your Black Friday shopping excursions because they will be open 9-4 offering up great deals.  Speaking of holiday shopping, two great new gift items that JNO recently got in are these earmuff headphones (pictured below):

These headphones look so cozy and are perfect for the dog walker in the family or teens.

And…check out these boot cuffs that are selling like crazy at JNO.   Wearing a knit sock over skinny jeans and having it peek out from the top of your boot is so in style.  These boot cuffs are just a cuff that peeks out from your leather boots.  JNO has them in beige and gray, and they are only $12.  They are a lot less cumbersome than wearing thick socks with boots, and if you have Hunter boots, you can use them with those as well.

I now know that when a new season approaches, my first stop will be JNO because you cannot pass up the great deals!
